We keep this simple: one strictly-necessary cookie, one optional first-party analytics category, and two small browser-storage entries. No third-party trackers.
About cookies and this policy
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device; localStorage and sessionStorage are similar browser mechanisms that hold small amounts of data. They help the site remember who you are during a visit and, with your consent, help us understand how the site is used.
Australia has no cookie-specific legislation. Instead, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies whenever cookies or browser storage collect information that identifies you — which is why this policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. We nevertheless operate a consent model, as best practice: optional analytics run only after you say yes.
Strictly necessary cookies
Required for the site to function and for security. They cannot be switched off, and they do not track you for analytics or marketing.

Analytics (consent required)
These run only if you choose "Accept all" or enable Analytics in the cookie settings. All analytics are first-party: nothing is sent to an external analytics service.

Browser storage (not cookies)
Two features use your browser's local/session storage. This data stays on your device except as described.

No third-party cookies
We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta pixels, advertising networks, social-media trackers or any other third-party cookies. (The chat assistant's AI provider processes message content server-side — this involves no cookies in your browser and is explained in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.)
Managing your choice
You can change your preference at any time — open the cookie settings (also linked in the footer of every page). Rejecting analytics takes effect immediately and no further analytics data is recorded.
You can also delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser's settings; deleting the MMSESSID cookie simply starts a fresh, anonymous session on your next visit.
