Cookie 政策
简单来说：一个严格必要的 Cookie、一个可选的第一方分析类别，以及两个小型浏览器存储条目。不使用任何第三方跟踪器。
About cookies and this policy
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device; localStorage and sessionStorage are similar browser mechanisms that hold small amounts of data. They help the site remember who you are during a visit and, with your consent, help us understand how the site is used.
Australia has no cookie-specific legislation. Instead, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies whenever cookies or browser storage collect information that identifies you — which is why this policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. We nevertheless operate a consent model, as best practice: optional analytics run only after you say yes.
Strictly necessary cookies
Required for the site to function and for security. They cannot be switched off, and they do not track you for analytics or marketing.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| MMSESSID | Keeps your chat session alive and protects every form with a CSRF security token. | Browser session |
Analytics (consent required)
These run only if you choose "Accept all" or enable Analytics in the cookie settings. All analytics are first-party: nothing is sent to an external analytics service.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| mm_consent | Remembers your cookie choice (necessary + analytics on/off). | 1 year |
| MMSESSID | Also used to de-duplicate page views so the same visit is not counted twice. | Browser session |
| Page-view & presence heartbeat | Small background requests recording a page view and that you are still on the page, linked only to a salted, irreversible fingerprint of your IP — never to your identity. | Data kept 30 days |
Browser storage (not cookies)
Two features use your browser's local/session storage. This data stays on your device except as described.
| Key | Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mm_consent | localStorage | A mirror of your cookie choice so the banner does not re-ask on every visit. | Until you change it |
| zn_ref | sessionStorage | If you arrived via a partner's referral link (?ref=…), stores the partner's code so a later quote request can be attributed to them. The code identifies the partner, not you. | Deleted when the tab closes |
No third-party cookies
We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta pixels, advertising networks, social-media trackers or any other third-party cookies. (The chat assistant's AI provider processes message content server-side — this involves no cookies in your browser and is explained in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.)
Managing your choice
You can change your preference at any time — open the cookie settings (also linked in the footer of every page). Rejecting analytics takes effect immediately and no further analytics data is recorded.
You can also delete cookies and site data at any time through your browser's settings; deleting the MMSESSID cookie simply starts a fresh, anonymous session on your next visit.
